What Do I Need To Know Before My Exam?

Plan ahead...

As a courtesy, we do not perform an examination until we have a conversation. Our consultation is complimentary and is always more of a friendly conversation. This allows us to learn more about you and for you to learn more about us and, more importantly, determine if we are the right solution for you. After the consultation, you may elect to proceed with a Structural Chiropractic Examination, or schedule at a later date if you desire.

What Should I Expect From My Exam?

Our Structural Chiropractic Examination is performed by the doctor (not an assistant) and is comprehensive and takes approximately 45-60 minutes to complete depending on the severity of your condition.

If indicated, your Structural Chiropractic Examination will include:**

  • Structural Multiaxial Analysis

  • Structural Symmetry Assessment

  • Structural Digital Photography

  • Automatic Operating System (aOS) Analysis

  • NeuroThermal Analysis (NTA)

  • NeuroFunctional Spinal Assessment

In addition, we also measure the following:*

  • Blood Pressure

  • Blood Oxygen Saturation

  • Grip Strength

  • Leg Length Discrepancy

*These objective measures help give us insight into how well your Central Nervous System is functioning and its ability to regulate your body's aOS.

**Please be prepared to dress appropriately for the examination. It is required that you have athletic gym/shorts available, and women should also come with a sports bra for accurate an neurostructural assessment.

Our examination is designed to detect specific structural dysfunctions but it also allows for a better understanding of your spine compared to what is considered "normal." After your examination we may elect to proceed with your first targeted adjustment. Following the visit we will schedule you for a follow up one-on-one conference. During this conference we will review your exam results, explain how we can help you, and discuss what your plan of care would be should you decide to work with our office.
